Big thanks for shedding light on this story that news media is strategically ignoring.

Unfortunately, I'm not surprised that there isn't a lot of coverage on this incident. Time and time again Black women are not prioritized and are not protected. I remember writing specifically about a man in New Jersey (Khalil Wheeler-Weaver) who was on trial for the murder of three different Black women and attempted murder of a fourth. However, there was literally no major news coverage on it. Even one of the readers was shocked to hear this story despite the fact that she's from the exact place that stuff was happening. You can't imagine how livid I was.

Thanks again for sharing this. It's completely unacceptable that there isn't more outrage
