First and foremost, thank you for being in your line of work; I’m sure this only provides a glimpse into what you experience in your position and I can definitely see it’s not easy.

I get so discouraged knowing that these supporters mark themselves as “Christian”; people try to attach me to what they’re doing and it makes me sick. The delusional narratives I hear from some of them are just baffling at times. When it comes to POC who attend, I can’t really wrap my head around their mindset either. In my experience, when I see POC who have once supported him, they usually stopped after it became personal. In short: “I don’t care what happens to the rest of y’all, he’s not doing anything to ME and he’s got MY best interest at heart. Until, of course, they do something that makes it personal and then the reaction is “What?! I can’t believe this! Why?!”
