I definitely agree Vena; I believe colorism and overall anti-blackness play a huge role when it comes to the matter of natural hair. I feel I was in the same situation in which at first the movement seemed encouraging and uplifting. But after a while, you just had people who made literally no sense (lol I can’t believe you got criticized for using Henna)
