I don't see the problem with a child-free wedding. I've been to ones with kids, and I've been to ones without. If I can be honest, the ones without kids are the ones where I had a better time lol

The problem in this situation, however, is just communication. I think people need to understand that, while you're perfectly within the right to have your wedding the way you want, you should understand that it could be a huge inconvenience for others. And that means you need to be more accepting of the fact that some people just won't be able to come.

Some people may not have the option to leave their kids with a babysitter (probably not a family member because that person would likely be at the wedding), especially if attending requires travel. So when people do make the decision to have a child-free wedding, they can't be surprised if some folks really can't make it work.
