I feel like in this day and age, there’s a lot of emphasis on doing things young; whether it’s making a certain amount of income, running a successful business, getting married, or starting a family. There seems to be a romanticized idea of doing all of these things young. I’m in a new relationship after literally years of being single, and it’s looking to get serious. But just like you said, it doesn’t make sense to rush into things due to external pressure. It’s likely I will be past 30 by the time my guy and I take that next step (currently 27), but I’d rather be secure in that choice rather than filing for divorce later. Thanks for sharing!
