I’m not sure if you read a lot of John Maxwell, but he highlights this factor of effective leadership a lot on his books (i.e. The 5 Levels of Leadership). It’s so important that people understand that leadership isn’t simply tied to a job title, but rather a reflection of how you carry yourself and how you treat or guide others. It’s one thing to be a positional leader, but much more to be a leader that people choose to follow!
