I do agree that there are some things that would really be reserved for avid fans to know. However, even I was picking up on things like “That…doesn’t sound right?” Overall I was fine with the article but I did find some of those statements distracting. And honestly, some of them did kind of put holes in the argument of why her marketing is genius. If someone says “She doesn’t sing about pain” and references that as a reason why people love her so much then that’s a pretty visible flaw.

Even though the world paints Beyonce’ as this untouchable Goddess, I think underneath that is actually a layer of relatability. From being cheated on, to experiencing a miscarriage, to activism, I think there are just times where she pulls back from that Goddess persona and reveals an actual person. But I think that’s just one of the things that makes her so marketable
