Michelle, that’s an awesome accomplishment!

I’m in agreement with all of those financial tips. Some people tend to view me as a tightwad because I make it a point not to spend unnecessarily (or I try my very best; sometimes that Snickers bar just calls out to me!)

I think the hardest part for me was also concerts. I found them to be fun and helped relieve my stress. And I have the nerve to be into foreign artists, who already have limited places they’re going to visit in the US which means more money would have to be spent traveling to another state. I definitely had to put a stop to that, even if it wasn’t that frequently.

I think people shy away from budgeting because they don’t want to give up certain luxuries, but the pay off is so great at the end. Thanks for sharing!
