It’s crazy because what you experienced is what journalists have to go through in order to get some of their stories together. I find it admirable that you were willing to go through the experience and solidify what you (and a lot of us) already know.
I think the fact that people were questioning why you all were there speaks volumes. Mainly because I know they more than likely questioning the other people of color that showed up, the ones who actually support these views. Even they know that the fact you are there is odd and out of place. When it comes down to it, they know you shouldn’t be there because they know that having this viewpoint goes against your well-being and interests as a Black woman. But if the president really does want to ‘make America great again’ like you all say, then shouldn’t it be a given that all people would want to be at this rally? If it’s “common sense” to support him like you say, shouldn’t you expect to see men, women, and people of color to be there? They don’t expect it.
