Thanks for reading! Yes, it’s a problem we’re somehow STILL seeing but I think we can be hopeful for the future. We’re coming into an age where more brown and dark-skinned women are being pushed to the forefront of Hollywood’s attention. It’s definitely not resolved, but it’s a start. I’m hoping in our lifetime all Black women can be valued as they should.
