I’m a little embarrassed to say, but it took me a while to even understand how ‘clapping’ even worked. I think for a whole month I went through stories only clapping ‘once’ because my brain was interpreting them as ‘likes’. That is, until people started clapping for my stories and I realized “ohh you can do this more than once???”

I enjoy this perspective. Whenever I would see a certain amount of claps per user, I would get confused: Should I be careful about how much I’m clapping? Is their a limit? Is there some sort of judging system? They clapped 30 times, I wonder what made them not want to do 50?, etc. Your philosophy sounds a lot less stressful haha so I think I’ll take this into account when I’m reading from now on
