Thanks so much for sharing this! I find this statement and the question “when are you gonna have kids” to be extremely intrusive and insensitive. There are a number of reasons why a woman doesn’t have kids, is waiting to have kids, or doesn’t want to have kids. And in all cases, it’s none of their business.

It’s always been my mission to adopt or provide foster for a child in the future. There are so many kids in the world who need that love and attention from someone, so why not me? People get so hung up on passing down DNA that they don’t take into the fact that there are other ways to impact the next generation as well as create a family.
