thanks so much for sharing this! As someone who has also taken interest in true crime in recent years, I am always baffled by the fact that some of the most well-known murderers have "fans" gushing over them. I can't even begin to make sense of it. feel that sometimes films will inadvertently(?) paint these people to be 'fascinating geniuses' and it makes people much more likely to sympathize them. It gives people too much separation from the reality of the situation.
And I also don't like the idea of calling a serial killer a "genius". Especially with Bundy; looking more into it he escaped from prison because his guards were inattentive. He and other ones of his time were able to get away with it because this took place before a time in which we had the forensic science and technology to convict people like this. There was nothing 'special' about it.
