thanks so much for sharing this. I feel like, whether you land on the side of introvert or extrovert, companies will always find SOMETHING about us that they want to pick at. At an old job, I was more on the introvert side and people made it seem like I either didn't like what I was doing or I wasn't as "dedicated". Fast forward to present time and one of my coworkers is more outgoing, perky ,etc. HOWEVER, there have been people who secretly complained about her behavior as being "disruptive". I do wish they would just leave us alone and judge us by our work rather than how well we can play "Sassy/Funny Black Girl" while simultaneously avoiding the role of "Obnoxious/Mean Black Girl".
