That comment from this guy is truly disgusting, to the point where it feels like some sick twisted trolling.

No one is obligated to give someone the ‘benefit of the doubt, especially their abuser, attacker, or anyone who has caused them mental and physical harm. Nothing about that makes sense.

What’s weird is that I’ve been encountering comments from some random guy with no stories (until I blocked him, anyway) that seemed to only be about being combative and not actually trying to get a good understanding of what is being written. Responses were completely wrong and irrelevant to the topic.
