This is definitely similar to how I felt as I entered my current relationship. I feel like I was constantly waiting for something to ‘go wrong’ and I kept thinking that any conflict or disagreement would instantly lead to a break-up. It’s because I hadn’t experienced a situation before where both parties knew ‘how’ to argue and resolve conflict. It’s definitely a learning process though; I still have to catch myself when I’m thinking of something negative from the past so that I don’t push those same characteristics over my current bf.
