Well I definitely got my giggles for the day lol. I’m glad I’m not alone in having panicked inner monologues.

It’s so weird as I’m actually starting to see this transition within myself. The first time I heard my teenage cousins use a word I didn’t know I instantly thought: Oh wow, it’s happening. It’s finally happening. I’m becoming an actual adult.

I definitely see what you mean about trying to use new slang; I find it really awkward so I don’t even try it unless I’m joking around and purposely making interns cringe.
