We've only clipped his nails once so far (by 'we' I mean my husband. I supervised so I could learn how to do it). He's a 9 week old puppy so it's no surprise that he was fidgeting and stuff. He's pretty nosy/curious, and he wants to nibble on things. We ended up waiting until he was tuckered out from playing, but even then when my husband would 'get him good' (avoiding the quick, mind you). He'd yelp because he's so surprised. I'm sure it'll take some time with the clippers so we'll keep using them, but I'm defintiely going to look up different methods to see what could work best for him
