“What’s sad is that he was allowed to stay so long. It’s also sad that people observed his behavior for months and decided to turn a blind eye until he messed with the wrong people.”

This is sadly the story for a lot of women in the workplace. It’s such a weird system. The guy does horrible/inappropriate things, everyone sees him doing it, no one does anything about it UNTIL something ‘big’ happens. I’m glad that people supported you in confronting him though; that still was a small personal win I’m sure. It’s very likely he was projecting his own insecurities (and probably his attraction towards you) onto you because he didn’t know how to deal with them. That’s his problem that he should be working out on his own smh.
